The Medivent Grand is a complete Anaesthesia Workstation with high-end features and modern ventilation capabilities. It is quite compatible for Low Flow Anaesthesia. The Hypoxic Guard, Oxygen Failure Protection, ORC and in-built FiO2 Monitoring are some of the basic features. The adaptive modes of PRVC ensures delivery of Target Volume at the minimum pressure without the PCV level being set time again. Also, it delivers Tidal Volume after compensating for the loss due to compression of gas in the circuit

It is a high-end Anesthesia workstation that provides for the standard features like Oxygen Ratio Controller (ORC), Oxygen Failure Protection Device (OFPD), Nitro-lock, Hypoxic Guard and so on. It is a compact anaesthesia machine with following features.
Oxygen Ratio Controller (ORC): The device is designed so that the ratio of Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen can be controlled easily only by controlling the flow of oxygen. Its other aspect is to guard against hypoxic mixture of gases.
Oxygen Failure Protection Device (OFPD): This system works at the last stage of flow control and protects against flow of N2O in absence of oxygen. The flow of N2O is shut down in such cases.
Basal Flow: When MEDISYS OFPD is in operation as indicated by Audio-Visual Alarm, a separate Pneumatic Circuit is activated to deliver a minimum Oxygen Flow of 200 - 300 ml/min through its Rotameter.
Alarm: Audio-Visual Alarm is activated if flow of Oxygen falls below LPM.
Circle Absorber System: Twin Canister Circle Absorber System is provided with swiveling facility. Bag-Mount & APL Valve Assembly have swivel arms for easy accessibility.
Emergency Oxygen: It helps to quickly compensate the loss of gas in the circuit with oxygen at a high flow of 45 LPM.
Vaporizers : The Vaporizers of Ether and Halothane are supplied as standard accessories. Provision for incorporating Vaporizer of user's choice in the Back Bar
A quick-fit connector has been provided as the gas outlet for driving a ventilator. 60 PSI pressure is available at this outlet.
